It Snow Joke....

Can't believe it, but I've been snowed in again (twice in one week). On top of the lovely 3" ice layer on our road, we had a further snowfall overnight which made the driving conditions quite hazardous.

Despite my best efforts, I still managed to slide around the road several times and then lost all grip in the middle of a busy junction. Someone somewhere was trying to tell me it wasn't worth risking my life, so I gave up after 1 hour and 15 mins (during which i got about 500 yds down the road !!).

Big Freeze Fun

Due to the icy conditions, there were not many cars evident today. Perfect reason to enjoy the snow outside and to slide around on the road.

New skill

Little O has clearly developed the ability to climb onto anything. We have been putting this to good use, of course and the dishes have never been cleaner.

Now, if only he could reach the fridge and pass me out a drink from time to time, then all the training will have been worthwhile.

Nothing better than a nice snack after all that playing....

Snowed in (again)

For the 2nd time in 12 months, we have been snowed in at home. I cannot remember ever having this happen before and now it happens twice in (relatively) quick succession. Managing to do some work on the computer, however, so not a complete loss.

The dynamic duo, of course, were not too disappointed with the inclement weather conditions !!!

Not even our support was enough

Little O and myself watched the football game, but sadly Liverpool again disappointed. Many more of these performances and we'll be tempted on changing allegiance !

Sad to say goodbye..

Little T in particular was sad Grandma and Grandpa had to leave. We had a great time with them over New Year. We hope to be able to visit them soon in Liverpool.

Mrs K/C/KC and I would like to wish everyone a very happy new year and a prosperous 2010.
We spent a wonderful evening amongst friends, with a spectacular range of cocktails, delicious food (galloping horses are phenomenal), troublesome pigs (!) and a sparkling rendition of Auld Lang Syne.

New Year's Eve Celebrations

The evening started well with a lovely meal out with Grandma and Grandpa. Everyone behaved themselves and ate well. Party poppers and crackers were mostly enjoyed by Little T !

Ready for action !

Little O now also kitted out with protective head gear (may come in useful even when not on his new scooter). Will not be long before they are both racing each other down the path.
